Newly leaked photos allegedly of the iPhone 7 appear to reveal a touch sensitive home button. Posted by MobiPicker, the images of a white colored iPhone also have a repositioned front camera and proximity sensor.
Our source tells us that this button is perfectly in level with the rest of the bezel and cannot be pressed in. The button is touch-sensitive and users will have to perform tapping actions for various functions, like tap and hold for Siri, double tap to see the running apps, etc. The Touch ID might be significantly smoother and faster due to this change.
While we can't verify this report as of yet, Apple is widely rumored to make other changes to the iPhone 7 including the removal of the headphone jack, simplified antenna bands, an improved camera and a dual lens camera for the iPhone 7 Plus. Check out these renders of what the phone may look like.
