A new report from IHS iSuppli analyst Kevin Wang claims that Apple's 2017 iPhone will feature a dual curve display.
Wang commented on Weibo referencing the Vivo Xplay 5 with its 5.4-inch OLED touch screen that slopes to the sides similar to the S7. He claimed that there will be more manufacturers using this technique including Apple next year.
It's been rumored that Apple is planning a massive upgrade to the iPhone in 2017 with an edge-to-edge display that has no bezels on the top and bottom. Additionally, the front camera, Touch ID, speaker, and other sensors will apparently be embedded into the display.
Earlier this week, Wang claimed that Apple would finally be bumping the base iPhone configuration to 32GB of storage.
