PayPal has announced that it is discontinuing its apps for Windows Phone, BlackBerry, and Amazon's Kindle Fire. Additionally, starting on June 3 through June 30, customers using older versions of the PayPal mobile app on Android and iOS will be required to upgrade to version 6.0.

Version 6.0 of the PayPal app is currently supported on the following devices:
● Android devices running OS 4.03 or greater
● Apple devices running iOS 8.1 or higher: iPhone 4S or greater, iPad 2 or greater, and iPod Touch 5th gen or greater

For Windows Phone users, PayPal will sunset the current version of the PayPal app on June 30. It will still be possible to access PayPal through its mobile website and users will still be able to utilize the Outlook.com PayPal add-in to send money from their inbox.

The PayPal app for Kindle Fire and Blackberry will be discontinued on June 30, after which you will no longer be able to use the app. Users will still be able to use the mobile website and Blackberry can continue to use the BBM app to send peer-to-peer payments.

If you don't have the latest version of PayPal, you can download from the App Store for free.
