Instagram App Gets Simpler Design, New Icon [Video]

Instagram has announced an update its iOS app that brings a simpler design and a new icon.

Today we’re introducing a new look. You’ll see an updated icon and app design for Instagram. Inspired by the previous app icon, the new one represents a simpler camera and the rainbow lives on in gradient form. You’ll also see updated icons for our other creative apps: Layout, Boomerang and Hyperlapse.

Instagram has also made improvements to how the app looks on the inside. A simpler design puts more focus on your photos and videos without changing navigation.

Updated and my app wont even open anymore fails everytime even after restart a reinstall will probably fix it but seriously some bullshit and extremely rough transistion not happy

You may have to delete the app and install it fresh again.

I won't be updating anytime soon. Why is everyone scared of skeuomorphism? Flat designs are so unimaginative.
