Apple and SAP today announced a partnership that aims to 'revolutionize' the mobile work experience for enterprise customers by bringing the SAP HANA platform to the Apple's iPhone and iPad. The partnership will also bring a new version of the iOS SDK so that developers and partners can easily built native iOS apps for their business needs.

Through the new SDK, we’re empowering SAP’s more than 2.5 million developers to build powerful native apps that fully leverage SAP HANA Cloud Platform and tap into the incredible capabilities that only iOS devices can deliver.”

The partnership will also bring a new SAP Fiori for iOS design language, which will take the SAP Fiori user experience and combine it with the consumer-grade iOS experience. Additionally, a new SAP HANA Cloud Platform SDK will enable developers to quickly build iOS apps based on business process on SAP S/4HANA.
