The much rumored 4-inch iPhone 5se will likely get an A9 processor with an integrated M9 motion coprocessor, according to a revised 9to5Mac report. MyDrivers first reported that the smaller device would get the faster processor back in December.

We are told that there are different prototypes of the device floating around Apple’s campus: some with the A8 and M8 chips that we discussed in our previous report, and some with the iPhone 6s’s A9 and M9 processors. We’ve now learned that the iPhone 5se is more likely to include variants of the A9 and M9 chips instead of the A8 and M8 lines

Notably, the M9 coprocessor would give the iPhone 5se always-on Siri, letting you easily activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” whenever your iPhone is nearby.

The site is also corroborating previous reports that the iPhone 5se would be offered in 16GB and 64GB capacities. It's unclear if there will be a 128GB version.

So far we've seen two leaks of an alleged iPhone 5se (iPhone 6c) device. Both resemble a smaller iPhone 6. Check out the video here and the photo here.

Currently, Apple is expected to unveil the device during a March special event. You can learn more about it's rumored specs here and you follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
