Leaked images reveal what may be the backlight assembly for the upcoming iPhone 7, reports apple.com.tw.
While the component looks similar to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus backlight assembly its 3D Touch chip and flex cables are relocated. The site suggests that if not for the iPhone 7, the part could also be for the 6c; however, its size appears to indicate it's for a larger display.
Apple isn't expected to unveil the iPhone 7 until this fall; however, rumors about the device are already circulating, including reports that it will be waterproof with hidden antennas and possibly drop the headphone jack.
