Wearable manufacture Fitbit has announced the Fitbit Blaze today at CES -- the smartwatch with a focus on fitness and activity.

While the Fitbit Blaze may look like the many other Android Smartwatches available, it actually does not have any third-party applications on the device and instead places an emphasis on activity and fitness. The Fitbit Blaze will allow users to track steps, sleep, exercise, calories burnt, and more. The device also syncs with your smartphone to show the collected data in the Fitbit app.

Similar to the Apple Watch, the Fitbit Blaze also features interchangeable bands and frames, and with a color touch screen, users can personalize their watch face.

“One of the first things we learned in this industry is that fitness is personal – and if something isn’t your style, you won’t wear it,” said James Park, CEO and Co-Founder of Fitbit. “With Fitbit Blaze, we pushed the boundaries of what’s possible to create a beautiful, versatile device that can be customized to fit your personal style – while packing a powerful fitness punch to help you reach your goals. Fitbit Blaze delivers a combination of innovative features that were carefully selected with intention and purpose, designed to motivate and offer a fitness experience that is more effortless and more useful with advanced guidance and coaching.”

The Fitbit Blaze offers many fitness and activity features. The device includes FitStart Personal Trainer that delvers guided instructions and images for personalized workers. It also sports a PurePlus feature (continuous heart rate tracking) to help maintain workout intensity and better track the calories burned during each workout. Additionally, SmartTrack automatically recognizes and records the different movement activities like biking, hiking, or walking. For runners, the Fitbit Blaze can also connect to your phone's GPS to show your route and offer other running stats.

Beyond Fitness, the Fitbit Blaze offers sleep tracking, supports notifications (including messages, calls, and calendars), and features a 5 day battery life on a single charge. Users can even control their Music with the device.

Fitbit is accepting pre-orders for the Fitbit Blaze starting today. The device will retail for $199.95 in ship in March 2016. Fitbit will also offer accessories with the Blaze including classic band ($30), a leather band ($100), and a stainless steel link band ($130).
