Apple has filed papers asking the court to force Samsung to pay the company nearly $180 million in supplemental damages and interest, reports Reuters.
The damages relate to five Samsung devices that infringed Apple's patents and were sold after the 2012 jury verdict finding Samsung guilty of infringement.
Samsung has paid over $548 million to Apple for the infringement but has now appealed the verdict to the United States Supreme Court.
Reuters notes that another trial over remaining damages related to the appeals court decision is set for March in San Jose, California federal court.
