Bains Software has announced the immediate availability of SpamSweep v1.6.2, an update to its powerful spam filter for Mac OS X. SpamSweep is an advanced bayesian spam filter with a simple, easy to understand interface. SpamSweep seamlessly combines many filtering technologies, including domain and relay blacklists, sender whitelisting, and a bayesian filter to automatically delete spam messages before they're downloaded by the user's email client.
The application currently integrates seamlessly with Apple Mail, Microsoft Entourage, GyazMail, Mailsmith, and Eudora.
