Microsoft has launched an updated Outlook 2.0 app for iOS which features a fresh new look, a native Apple Watch app, and begins to integrate features from the Sunrise Calendar app.

Meet Outlook for iOS, the app that helps millions of users connect all their email accounts, calendars and files in one convenient spot. Newly redesigned, Outlook for iOS lets you do more from one powerful inbox.

Alongside the announcement of the new Outlook app, Microsoft has revealed that development of Sunrise will stop and instead it will focus on bringing Sunrise features to the Outlook app.

Some Sunrise features are already present in Outlook for iOS and Android.
You can already connect multiple accounts (Office 365 and Exchange obviously, but also Gmail, iCloud and more) to have a complete overview of what your day looks like. The current calendar section of the app also has the agenda view and the day view as well as the expandable month view we had in Sunrise.

All the features you love in Sunrise are coming to Outlook soon
We are currently working on integrating all the extra features that made Sunrise so delightful to use in Outlook for iOS and Android. Expect features like Interesting Calendars, Connected Apps and our 3-day view to show up before the end of the year.

Here's the changelog for Microsoft Outlook 2.0.

What's New In This Version:
Today, we’re officially calling an end to our recent trend of “bug fixes and performance improvements”, and finally revealing what we’ve been hiding from you all this time.

One.
We’ve given Outlook for iOS a fresh new look. From the email list all the way down to the Outlook icon, we’ve worked some magic to provide you with an overall improved experience. But enough said, we don’t want to ruin the surprise. We’ll let you discover all of it for yourself.

Two.
For all of you Apple Watch users out there, the app is now native. This means improved performance and great design. You can now also find all the info you need right from your watch face or by turning the Digital Crown. The time, your next appointment or the status of your inbox. Speaking of inbox, all of your recent emails are now easily accessible through your watch, whether read or unread.

You can download Microsoft Outlook from the App Store for free.
