Luca Todesco, an Italian student, has released source code for jailbreaking iOS 8.4.1.

The code for Todesco's jailbreak, called Yalu, is available from GitHub. It will jailbreak your device and allow you to install OpenSSH, but he says to hold off on installing Cydia for now.

"latest Yalu git commit does a jailbreak & extracts a .tgz to /. Make sure not to install cydia with it. OpenSSH is fine."

It appears as though Todesco plans to release the jailbreak publicly.

"technically speaking my i6 is now jailbroken on 8.4.1. yalu for i6 will be out very soon
...
Only thing that's really left to do is to use dyldmagic to overwrite amfid's lazy symbol table.
...
time to buy a bunch of phones"

If you have an 8.4.1 device and want a jailbreak, you may want to hold off on updating to iOS 9.
