Microsoft has unveiled a new Microsoft Surface Book laptop to rival the MacBook.

Let's see how silent and how hot it runs first before saying that this is better. Also how much does it cost to get the faster nvidia gpu model? And how come this device can't be closed properly? Wtf!

The caveat that this is faster than the MacBook Pro is that the Mabook has to use the latest Microsoft office on El Capitan.

Macbook pro killer? Please. It's nothing more than a removable keyboard and the hinge is too thick makes the screen completely meet with the keyboard. How does that help?

This is BEAUTIFUL. No two ways about it, will definatly be buying this machine and selling my macbook pro. 16GB ram! Kills the mbp, my mbp had really annoying keyboard stains on the screen, slowing down and ridiculus malware. Microsoft have hit the sweet spot, no more buying extra appliances for apple which Microsoft already have included. Amazing screen aswell. Love it.

1. It's the other way around completely from what you said on viruses on mac compared ro windows. My first time with windows that only lasted few months was also the last. It once had limited virus protection is what you always need ro have windows not glitched out, but when it ended, I carefully went to sites that dont have malware on it, not only that I didnt download anything. It went downhill as I continuously got the blus screen if death cinstantly remived and when it finally stopped, I was forever stuck on windows 98 like 'safe mode' and had no way of getting it out. My only chouce to fix it was to eleminate the whole memory stored onto it. Compared to what I have now using a mAx, it's nowhere near like that a bit. 2. iPad Pro is what pro is compared to sirface pro. What is so great about textureless os with nothing but the same keyboard and monitor removal. That's gimmick right there. Why have a physical keyboard for a tablet when it can be used right on the screen (I own an iPad btw) that also has symbol keys without needing to do the alt key funtion? 3. Mac osx has new features that continue to shows how much effort and potemtial it has compared ro windows, and as an additional feature, light up keyboard with built in software that's simple as it can get like searching functions that's all found in the setting and can filter stuff within searches, plus the browser that can run extensions and I mean really good reliable extensions. I can go on with what I have to say but this all goes to show how much owned shatter glass is. They werent bad back then but are niw downgraded even by their logo alone. Hands down, hats off.

I still prefer windows with its viruses and fragmentation and all that. Maybe if people envied it less then less viruses would be written for it. I LOVE MY IPHONE AND IPAD but I PREFER WINDOWS OVER MAC OS. Even with all its issues. I think it looks great too. Beauty comes in different packages but it's best advantage is Windows.

ai prefer Apple any day because they dnt screw up the same inferface they are still using conoared ro windows, but it also has effort put inti effects in which windows downgrades, what's a real advantage is how much mac osx offers other than anything new pput into it such as apps I can find, upgradable parts, ram and power efficiency.

Just read s news outlet call this a MacBook killer?? Where is it killing anything? It's still a surface pro with a more laptop like keyboard. It still weighs 3.5 lbs and runs Windows
