Microsoft CEO Demos iOS Apps on 'iPhone Pro' [Video]

Posted September 18, 2015 at 2:19am by iClarified
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella demonstrated the company's apps on an iPhone, turning it into what he calls an 'iPhone Pro'.

Nadella was speaking at the recent Salesforce Dreamforce conference. He highlighted Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Sway, Outlook, and other apps. Although, he was quick to note that the phone wasn't his.

Notably, Microsoft made an appearance at the recent Apple keynote, demonstrating its software on the iPad Pro. Since Nadella has become CEO, the company has released a slew of applications for iOS.

Im not a fan of outlook. I only use it to separate my work email to my personal emails. I use iPhone's and Mac's native mail app for my gmail, yahoomail and hotmail.

I mean if you think about it, it makes since. Microsoft makes most of their money from software, not from hardware. The Microsoft windows phone is dead, it absolutely makes since that they would want to team up with Apple to sell their software products. And apple gets the money from the hardware. Seems like a win win to me.

So true, Microsoft is a software company, Starting with Windows and office to excellent games, with a small exception the Xbox ( a good hardware and software device ).

And the Surface Pro which is a complete PC on a tablet also can fit in the list, Was very hoping that Apple would have done the same with the iPad Pro running a complete Apple operating system not the cheep iOS on with so much power in that device they should have, but they disappointed so many which like me were sure it's going to happen this tIme.

I wouldn't call the surface a great machine or device, but I do agree that the iPad "Pro" is a complete waste.

Does anyone really have anything positive to say. Sounds like hate for Apple and Microsoft in this post. Both have their positives and the negatives, everybody relax, take a deep breath, and remember it's just a piece of metal plastic and glass.

I say they get hate after being outsmarted by their ads trying to be better than iPhone and look where they are now.

Hey, if you can't win them over, make them customers anyhow. It probably will work. MS selling more Active-sync licenses and probably Office 365 as well.
