Localytics has shared some data on the current iPhone market just prior to Apple's announcement of a new iPhone 6s.
The company made three notable observations: ● The iPhone 6 is the most popular model on the market, commanding a 30% share of all iPhones ● The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus were adopted at a faster rate than their predecessors, the iPhone 5s and 5c ● Larger iPhone models see higher app engagement, with almost 16 launches per month
While the iPhone 6 came in first place with 30.1% share, the iPhone 5s at 23.7% share and the iPhone 5 at 12.8% best the iPhone 6 Plus at 9.1%.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus make up 39% of all iPhones on the market, which is the highest adoption of new iPhones releases.
On the 6 and 6 Plus, an app is launched more than 15 times per month, on average. The next highest engagement is on the 4-inch iPhone 5s, with an average of 14 launches per month per app, and the 4-inch iPhone 5c, with an average of 13.1 app launches per month.
I've got a 6 Plus. Had it since it came out. It's jailbroken and running a ton of tweaks and a theme, plus widgets. My battery last all day on one charge. I don't know what's going on with yours?! Maybe try closing out of all those apps when you're not using them.
I know I say this every time about battery in case you haven't noticed, but my Ampy gets me battery because it uses movement to get me infinite battery charge. I haven't use wall outlet since. Either try that or wait for iOS 9 power efficient feature.
