New photos obtained today by 9to5mac reveal some upcoming features that the next-generation iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will support.

As previously rumored, the new photos indicate the front-facing FaceTime camera will receive a substantial upgrade with larger, improved sensors. The larger sensors likely indicate a higher pixel count, which currently sits at 1.2 megapixels on the iPhone 6. An improved front-facing camera, along with a software-based flash, will bring a much welcomed enhancement to selfies.

Unfortunately, the photos did not show the rear camera's sensor, but sources say the iPhone 6s will sport a 12 megapixel camera with 4k video-recording support. Currently the iPhone can only record 1080p video and has an 8 megapixel camera.

As early rumors suggested, the iPhone 6s will likely feature a Force Touch display with haptic feedback. The photos that surfaced today give an up-close look at what appears to be the new display and taptic engine.

Along with camera upgrades and Force Touch, the iPhone 6s is rumored to feature a faster processer, a new Rose Gold color, a new NFC chip, a faster LTE chip, and more. Apple will announce the iPhone 6s at its September 9 event, where it will also likely reveal a revamped Apple TV.

Haptic feedback and a smaller battery could possible mean less battery life. Funny as people Complain that battery was still a problem. I think apple needs to copy Samsung quick charge technology.

That's why Samsung phones with Quick Charge battery lifespan is poor. Quick charging kills your battery faster.

Here's an idea, put your phone on airplane mode and use iPad charger. Phone takes less than 30 minutes to get to 100%. Done.

I'm an apple fan and I don't say ridiculous shit like that, but from what I use nowadays, my iPhone battery isn't crap or even close. It lasts up to 2 days in a single charge. (I know you were arguing against great, but) there exists technology now to where you can change devices without wall outlets. I own an AMPY and it's the most portable charger that uses movement to charge my own. Since then, I haven't used a wall outlet in months. The AMPY is also wearable. I exercise to get the most out of infinite battery charge. Think about it, it's like my iPhone battery became infinity. You have a point don't get me wrong, but surely you'll understand what I mean.

Clearly people don't know much about technology do your research before you speak quick charging makes The charges in the battery move faster than optimum this therefore decreases the life of the battery eventually causing it to drain faster quick charging is a nice feature however Apple wait for technology to mature before using it Samsung fools people by adding stupid things like 4gb ram where it's proven in real world tests the iPhone beats the note 5 for example by 15 seconds at the moment four gig of ram is not needed
