A new report from 9to5Mac is corroborating rumors that the iPhone 6s will arrive in Rose Gold.
Today, our sources have confirmed that the new iPhones will actually come in a color that is unmistakably Rose Gold in both appearance and name. This new Rose Gold color is a copper-like variation on the gold option originally introduced with the iPhone 5s in 2013.
Notably, the front of the device will be white like the gold and silver iPhone 6. The back will match the color of the Rose Gold Apple Watch; however, it will anodized aluminum rather than 18-karat gold. The new rose gold color will likely be the only differentiating factor between the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
Unfortunately, Apple is said to be sticking with its Ion-X glass; rather than moving to sapphire or Gorilla Glass.

Apple is set to announce the iPhone 6s at 10:00am PST / 1:00pm EST on September 9th at the Bill Graham Civic Center. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates ahead of the event.
