Apple is reportedly preparing to launch new gold and rose gold colored versions of the Apple Watch Sport, as well as, a new iPad mini and updated iMacs, later this year.

The predictions come from KGI Securities analyst Min-Chi Kuo who has accurately predicted Apple product details in the past.

Kuo pegs Apple's second quarter shipments of the Apple Watch at 3.9 million and expects that number to grow to 5.5 million in the current quarter. Wall Street consensus is 15 million units through the end of 2015 which may be a difficult for the company to reach.

Notably, Kuo believes Apple could launch the Apple Watch Sport in new color options to match iPhone 6s colors later this year, anodizing the watch's aluminum casing with yellow and rose gold. Kuo and other sources have previously pointed to a new iPhone color (reportedly rose gold) and Kuo indicated months ago that Apple could use new casing options for the Apple Watch later this year.

Second quarter iPhone shipments are estimated at 54.2 million and those are predicted to drop to 40.1 million in the current quarter ahead of Apple's next generation device. Kuo warns that low Force Touch yields could affect the supply of next generation iPhones.

iPad sales are said to continue their slide with Kuo predicting 8.8 million shipped in the current quarter. To help counter the decline, Apple is said to be working on a thinner and lighter iPad mini that resembles the iPad Air 2. It could launch at the end of this quarter, boosting overall shipments to 11 million units. However, since iPad launches often occur in October, shipments might not begin until the fourth quarter. Notably, Kuo doesn't mention a new iPad or a new iPad Pro as launching this year.

Finally, Kuo predicts 5.3 million Macs shipping in the second quarter of this year and 5.8 million in the current quarter, based on back to school sales. To sustain demand, Apple reportedly plans to release new iMacs later in the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter.
