Zevrix Solutions has announced the release of PDF Checkpoint 1.0 public beta - a pre-release version of its new automatic preflight solution for Adobe PDF documents. PDF Checkpoint quickly checks fonts, colors, images and metadata of multiple PDF files and lets users instantly identify potential problems according to user-defined preflight profiles.

PDF Checkpoint features an intuitive and flexible user interface which lets users quickly and easily review preflight results of multiple PDF documents. The program list all PDF fonts, colors, images and document properties while presenting the detailed info in a user-friendly, digestible and easy-to-understand way. Customizable preflight profiles let users check PDF for specific attributes, such as image resolution, color model, PDF/X compliance and many others.

In addition, PDF Checkpoint will let users route PDF files according to preflight results, split PDF into single pages and extract images. PDF Checkpoint is a new addition to the Zevrix family of quality control products, which already includes InPreflight for Adobe InDesign and Graphic Inspector for raster and vector graphic files.
