Parrot has just unveiled 13 new MiniDrones including a Hydrofoil and new models of the Jumping Night, Jumping Race, Airborne Cargo and Airborne Night.

The miniaturized robots can be controlled with an iPhone or iPad using the FreeFlight 3 app for iOS.

PARROT JUMPING UAV
The 'Jumping' drones are intelligent ground robots, controllable via Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz or 5 via the free application FreeFlight 3 for Smartphones and Tablets.

● Onboard camera: they are equipped with a wide angle camera whose flow is broadcast in streaming on the steering device screen. They take pictures and videos they record directly into their flash memory 4GB.
● Speaker and microphone: they emit different 'sounds' according to their mood and, through an integrated microphone and speaker, listen and speak for you!
● A patented spring system: real stuntmen, they are able to jump up to 80 cm in height and length, and always land on their wheels!

Jumping Night Drones
The Jumping Night drones have the ability to see in dim light. Simply activate their powerful LEDs from FreeFlight 3 and adjust the intensity. They are also able to send signals, such as a flash or blink to indicate that the road is clear or prevent a danger.

They can then patrol and perform comprehensive video reports, even in the darkest areas.
● Top speed: 7km / h
● Jump: up to 80cm (height & length)
● Autonomy: 20 min - Quick charge 25 minutes (with 2.6A charger not included)

There are 3 models available: Diesel, Buzz and Marshall. Suggested retail price: € 199.

Jumping Race Drones
Equipped with powerful engines and large wheels for perfect handling, the Jumping Race drones can reach speeds of 13 km/h with the manual "boost", activated from the FreeFlight 3 application.

Their two large retractable wheels adapt to different driving styles:
● Apart wheels for greater stability at high speeds, ideal on smooth track.
● Wheels compacted, for agility and make their way in narrow spaces.

Details:
● Top speed: 13km / h
● Jump: up to 75cm (height & length)
● Autonomy: 20 min - Quick charge 25 minutes (with 2.6A charger not included)

There are 3 models available: Jett, Max and Tuk-Tuk. Suggested retail price: € 199.

PARROT AIRBORNE UAV
Ultra compact and super lightweight (58gr), Parrot 'Airborne' drones are flying robots controllable using the free FreeFlight 3 app.

Equally capable indoors and outdoors, they are equipped with a removable nylon hull to protect their propellers.

The Parrot 'Airborne' drones offer outstanding flight stability featuring these technologies commonly found on large drones:
● A 3-axis accelerometer and a gyroscope measure and analyze every move or tilt the device and grind through the autopilot, tilt and position of minidrone.
● A vertical camera compares every 16 milliseconds a ground image (fixed point) with the previous order to identify the speed of minidrone. It allows you to take snapshots that are stored on their flash memory 1GB. Perfect for "selfies" air!
● An ultrasonic sensor analysis, up to 4 meters, the altitude of flight. In addition, a pressure sensor controls the minidrone altitude.

Aces aerobatics: the 'Airborne' drones carry out high-speed flights. They can reach speeds up to 18km/h, turning right, left, carry out loops front, back and side with fluidity and impressive stability. A 'swipe' on the control screen and Parrot 'Airborne' drones run at 90 or 180 ° in a snap!

Airborne Night
During night patrols, it is possible to vary the intensity of their headlights and, like their terrestrial counterparts, send signals such as flashes or blinks!

They can then explore the dark and only accessible areas from the air ...
● Top speed: 18km / h
● Battery life: 9 min without hull - Quick charge 25 minutes (with 2.6A charger not included)

There are 3 models available: SWAT, Mac Lane and Blaze. Suggested retail price: € 129.

Airborne Cargo
The Parrot Cargo Airborne drones are transport drones capable of carrying a pilot or other cargo. This potential for accessorizing opens the imagination to immerse yourself in adventures worthy of a science fiction movie.

● Top speed: 18km / h
● Battery life: 9 min without hull - Quick charge 25 minutes (with 2.6A charger not included)

There are 2 models available: Mars and Travis. Suggested retail price: 99 €.

HYDROFOIL PARROT DRONE
Hydrofoil Drones are flying drones that attach to a hydrofoil, namely a ship with hydrofoils that is able to rise out of the water. Once the engines have been launched, the top of the hydrofoil rises and is positioned perpendicularly to the nautical structure.

Propelled by four propellers, the hydrofoil then slides on the water, holding at 5/6 cm above the surface with surprising stability and dexterity. Depending on water resistance, it can reach a maximum speed of 5.4 knots and turn in an instant without capsizing!

Featuring all the common capabilities of Parrot 'Airborne' drones, drones Hydrofoil may dissociate from their water structure and perform breathtaking aerial acrobatics!

● 18km / h in the air
● 10km / h (5.4 knots) on the water (it is recommended to use the Hydrofoil than freshwater)
● Time: 7 minutes by hydrofoil fashion - Quick charge 25 minutes (with 2.6A charger not included)

There are 2 models available: Orak and New Z. Suggested retail price: € 169.

The minidrones will be available soon at the link below and will launch in more countries starting next month.
