The TaiG jailbreak team has revealed that it does not plan to release an iOS 8.3 or iOS 8.4 jailbreak but rather will focus on jailbreak iOS 9.
In an interview with iDigitalTimes, Ray Xie said, "We currently haven’t any plans to release a jailbreak prior to iOS 9."
When asked about the Apple Watch, Xie said that "We have no plan to jailbreak Apple Watch at this time. Apple Watch is a new product. We don’t know too much about its users’ demands. What’s more, we are not quite clear about whether it is suitable or necessary to jailbreak an Apple watch. Time will tell all that."
Focusing on iOS 9 is a logical decision as it's a major operating system update that may prove difficult to jailbreak thanks to Apple's rumored "rootless" security system that will "be a heavy blow to the jailbreak community".
Fortunately, the Pangu Team has just demonstrated a jailbreak of iOS 8.3 and there is some hope that we could see a release after iOS 8.4 is publicly available.
Thought: What if if you try to pair the Watch stops with message on face "Jailbroken device detected for your security restore phone to use with Apple Watch"!
It's necessary to at least get it to a developer who will keep their mouth shut and not leak and start working on apple watch tweak possibilities/ necessities... Cause wouldn't it be awesome to have Speed by Steven Troughton-Smith a complication for the watch face!! That's just my first thought but get at least one person on it just in case... Not to mention building a Mac app as that always takes an extra week or so. If your gonna take ad money and donations you should be on it!!
You are absolutely right, the first tweak the Apple Watch needs is a choice of how long the screen stays on before it goes dark! Beside I could think of many more like how many Apps can be installed and more Apps that could run without the iPhone just like Music App does now, also volume intensifier, and many more! But for now I'll be happy with a jailbreak for my iPhone which I gave up because of the Apple Watch and who knows some tweaks for the Apple Watch could come out just by jail braking the phone.
