Apple may only add its new Force Touch feature to the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus, suggests a UDN report.

Force Touch uses tiny electrodes around the flexible Retina display to distinguish between a light tap and a deep press, and trigger instant access to a range of contextually specific controls.

Sources familiar with TPK, the company responsible for 90% of the Force Touch sensors in the Apple Watch, say that company will record significant profits this year by supplying Apple with sensors for a new 5.5-inch iPhone. The report does not mention the 4.5-inch iPhone 6.

Notably, those sensors are said to cost 2.5x - 3x more than the Apple Watch sensors.

Supply chain, said, iPhone 6S plus import pressure sensor to determine the upcoming shipment of Apple Watch screen size is only 1.5 inches and 1.65 inches, each pressure sensor connected to a single price for 4-5 US dollars. iPhone 6S plus enlarged to 5.5-inch screen size, so that orders the price rose to 13-14 US dollars, to boost the TPK and industry to profitability will be nourishing pill.

Previous rumors had suggested that Apple will be adding Force Touch to both its new iPhones this fall; however, it's possible that the company wants to further distinguish its iPhone Plus as a higher end product. The iPhone 6 Plus already boasts a better camera than the iPhone 6.
