The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge are set for release next month but already a 'bend test' of the device has been posted.
Following the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus last year, a few users began reporting that their device bent while in their pocket. A 'bendgate scandal' ensued and eventually subsided after customers realized it was unlikely to affect them.
Subsequently, smartphone manufacturers have touted their ability to resist bending as an advantage over the iPhone. As the Galaxy S6 will be the main competitor to the iPhone, it's not surprising that its bendability has already been tested.
Chinese Smartphones Review posted the bend test video which can be seen below. Did bendgate affect your smartphone purchasing decision? Let us know your thoughts on this and the video in the comments!
