These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s on iOS 8.0 - 8.1.2 using PP Jailbreak for Mac...
If you aren't already at iOS 8.1.2 we suggest upgrading to the latest firmware using iTunes. You can find download links for iOS 8.1.2 here. We've also posted instructions on how to update the firmware of your iPhone. Please note that you must update using iTunes rather than Software Update. If you used Software Update you should do a backup then restore to iOS 8.1.2 using iTunes.
Step Two Tap Settings from your Springboard then select Touch ID & Passcode. Turn Passcode Off if it is enabled.
Step Three Press the Settings button at the top left to return to the Settings menu. Choose iCloud from the Settings menu then select Find My iPhone from the iCloud menu. Ensure the Find My iPhone switch is the Off position.
Step Four Connect your iPhone to the computer via a USB cable, launch iTunes, and perform a manual backup. It is very important that you remember to backup your device before continuing as you could lose your data if the jailbreak process does not complete successfully.
Step Five Right click or hold down control and click the PP jailbreak icon from the iClarified folder on your desktop then click Open to launch the application.
Step Six You will notice the device is detected by the software. Uncheck the checkbox at the bottom left of the window then click the large button in the middle of window to begin your jailbreak.
Step Seven Click the large button to right to confirm you've disabled Find My iPhone and Touch ID.
Step Eight The PP app will now begin the jailbreak process.
Step Nine Once the jailbreak has completed successfully, you will be shown a green checkmark, your iPhone will reboot and a Cydia app will appear on your Springboard. Congratulations, you're now jailbroken!
*A big thanks to all those who contributed to this jailbreak.

I ran into the same problem, where it would repeatedly fail to install the jailbreak, with an orange warning label. I reset my iPhone 6, completely signed out of iCloud, then put the iPhone into airplane mode. Then I continued the tutorial as instructed and it worked as advertised.
Keeps failing, starts the process then instead of a green check mark at the end, it shows a orange triangle not far after the start and stops. can not get passed this??
Can't mount the dmg file! just downloaded latest version, and when mounting I get a pop-up saying can't mount it because image is not recognized. Tried to download twice on 2 separate Macs: Macbook Pro from 2009 running Mavericks, Mocbook Pro Retina from 2014 running Yosemite. Both give back the same message, never happened to me with previous jailbreaks. Any ideas which might help? Thanks!
And it's not the safety settings in the computer, already checked that. Firewall disabled, and apps from all developers allowed to run. Plus when this is the problem it comes back with a different pop-up suggesting me to change safety settings. This is as if the file was damaged or something.
I updated From iOS 8.1 to 8.1.2 and jailbreak it with this PP jailbreak. All worked just fine until I tried to use headphones. My iPad did not recordnice those at all. Then I thought that I should try to reboot to make it work. Conclution I am right now at the boot loop. Any ideas how to get rid of it??
worked like a charm, been waiting for a mac version, and it paid off. I live in China and I love the aggressive approach to jailbreaking. The old guard has let us down, or sold their souls to the apple. I can't think of any other excuse for why they haven't been able to release a solid JB since Absinthe.
After I jailbreak the IPhone 6+, my google maps will automatically locate all the Asian Restaurants and China Town when I search for restaurants and burgers! is that normal?
