How to Add and Use Safari Bookmarks

Add a Bookmark
To add a bookmark navigate to the webpage you would like to add and perform one of the following:
- Select Bookmarks : Add Bookmark.
- Press the Command+D keyboard shortcut.

Safari will display a popup where you can enter the name of the bookmark and also select where it will appear (It can appear on the Bookmarks bar or the Bookmarks menu, or under a folder in the Bookmarks menu). If you would like to create a new folder in the Bookmarks menu see the section below.
How to Add and Use Safari Bookmarks

To add a webpage to the Bookmarks bar quickly just drag the icon to the left of the webpage's address in the Address bar to the Bookmark bar.


Note**: You can also drag links on a webpage to the Bookmarks bar to create a bookmark quickly.

Add a Bookmarks Folder
To add a bookmarks folder simply select the Bookmarks Menu and choose Add Bookmark Folder. A new Bookmarks window will appear where you can change the name of the new folder to anything you would like.

Use Bookmarks
To navigate to a site you have bookmarked
- Select a bookmark from the Bookmarks menu.
- Select a bookmark from the Bookmarks bar.
- Select the Show All Bookmarks button (small opened book) on the left side of the Bookmarks bar and then select the desired bookmark from the Bookmark window.
- Select Show All Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu and then select the desired Bookmark from the Bookmark window.

Delete Bookmark
To delete a bookmark select the Show All Bookmarks button(small opened book) on the left side of the Bookmarks bar and then select the desired bookmark. With the desired bookmark selected press Delete on the keyboard.

You can also select Show All Bookmarks from the Bookmarks menu and then select the desired Bookmark from the Bookmark window. Press Delete on your keyboard to delete the selected Bookmark
