Leaked Video of Assembled iPhone 6 That Powers On! [Watch]

Posted August 29, 2014 at 6:48pm by iClarified
Feld & Volk has apparently managed to assemble an iPhone 6 from leaked parts and get it to power on.

In the video below, we see the purported iPhone 6 showcased then plugged into a USB cable. A small gear appears on the screen and then the Connect to iTunes screen is displayed.

Feld & Volk have been posted images of leaked parts for quite some time. Just earlier today it posted photos of a full logic board with A8 processor which may have made this video possible.

Of course, we can't confirm that the company is using all legit iPhone 6 parts; however, it's best look we've had at the rumored device thus far.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 6 on September 9th at an event which may also introduce a wearable device. There are two iPhone 6 models allegedly in the works - a 4.7-inch model and a 5.5-inch model. Whether both will launch in September is still unclear.

Take a look at the video below. At the end the iPhone 6 is compared to the iPhone 5s. Which do you like better? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Looks like Apple is going back to the original iPhone design, with the rounded edges. Nice.

Looks like someone didn't compare that much of the 6 and 2g. They made rounded edges to make the fel of it better but if it was bulky again, then it would be more like the 2g, but comparing the rest, the pill shaped volume buttons aren't connected together like they used to, the bottom is not one bit close to it, power button is on the side, and the back doesn't have antennas or the black part on the bottom so bottom line, 5% like the 2g.

Blue iTunes logo on iphone 6??? Really ?? New ITunes would be having red one. That makes this video one short of reality.

Wrong, app store logo is still blue even in the latest iOS 8 Beta Dev Pre. And it will stay blue...

There's like an image of a gear (like the windows phone settings icon) at 0:42 jut before the little iTunes logo comes up? I'm not sure if this is meant to happen on an iPhone? Does anyone know?

I think I will like the new one as my iPhone 4 is getting too slow. Every time a new iPhone with new design and people see it on the web site with those unofficial picture, there are always some people who trash the new one and said the old one is better. The most classic was still the iPhone 5 design. When people saw the iPhone 5 dual tone design prior the official release, people trash it and said 4S is better. It turns out, iPhone 5 looks pretty good when seeing in person. I think this would be similar situation. Regardless, iPhone 6 will be sell like a hot cake.

Strange but completely agreed. iPhone 4G to 4S upgrade was a no-brainer since it was free with work contract but 4S to 5G wasn`t planned. I loved the design of the old 4, from pics the new 5 didn`t look that nice. However after and unfortunate hardware failure the new replacement was a white 5G, and turns out its pretty nice in hand compared to the 4S. Wait and see in person...

I find the 5 perfect even for the way it feels, how can it be a hardware failure if it has more thought put into it and made with something that's a lot less stainless against fingerprints, but what I appreciated the most was the 5s.

5s definitely better. What is Apple trying to do, turn their phones into Androids? disgusting, keep to the Apple tradition.

I completely agree with you. I think the design is a complete fail. The design of the iPhone since the iPhone 4 has been a trademark apple look. To give that up, and go toward a more mainstream look is a huge mistake. I love my MacBook Pro because it is just a great computer, but I also love it because just by looking at it from a distance, you can tell what it is. That distinct look separates it from the others, and so did the older iPhone look. Apple may still be thinking different, but with the new iPhone, they sure aren't looking different. :( I am very disappointed at this new look...actually it's not a new look, it's just the same old look everyone else is doing. VERY disappointed. With this look you may as well say that you have an HTC One running iOS......WTH Apple? I figured things would go downhill after the passing of Steve Jobs...he would have NEVER allowed this. Actually, I am surprised that it took this long to happen. Too bad he didn't clone himself...I think that's the only thing that would save Apple and everything that makes Apple great from slowly fading into the wind.

The iPhone 6 looks awesome. Nice and slim and very clean line. This video does the iPhone justice. Wish Apple kept the back design of the iPhone 5. Those lines make it look so cheap.

I still don't like the antenna lines on the back .. But the all black back will look great if the lines are black also ...

Camera is going to protrude. I'm glad they went the rounded ergonomic back again. The 4 & 5 just felt too mechanical. I am ready for a new larger and more powerful iPhone.

Looks legit !! Hope it doesn't break the first time it's gets accidentally dropped on the floor !!! Talking abt the screen here & also hope it's water proof !!!!

Nitro Junkie - August 29, 2014 at 7:05pm
No way it'll be water proof with the speaker and charging ports being open at the bottom. Only way they'd be able to do it is if they sealed the insides with something like liquipel

Unless the brightness is turned down on the 5S the iTunes logo looks clearer, brighter and more colorful on the 6s screen.
