A brief comparison of Apple's iPhone and iPad sales compared to the some of the largest companies around has been compiled by Slate.
Apple generated $19.74 billion in iPhone sales last quarter. That's more than Amazon's last reported quarterly revenue. It's also more than the revenues of Coca-Cola and McDonald's combined. Google and eBay combined barely beat that number.
iPad sales are lower than iPhone at $5.9 billion; however, that's still greater than Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Groupon, and Tesla. Those companies combined barely outweigh Apple's Mac sales of $5.5 billion.
Notably, Apple's hardware business generated $1.3 billion which is more than Chiptole brought in. Apple's iTunes, Software, and Services businesses generated a bit more than eBay and the company's iPod line brought in $442 million this quarter, 77% more than Twitter's $250 million in revenue for the quarter.
