Check out this photo of a full scale segment of Apple Campus 2, the new spaceship-like headquarters of Apple being built in Cupertino.
The segment was set up for demonstration and testing purposes on the premises of Josef Gartner GmbH in Gundelfingen, according to iFun.
The steel "fin" incorporates a recessed ventilation port louvers near the curved glass wall to offer free-flowing air, cutting down on heating and cooling costs. Identical "fins" will ring the building on all four floors.
An aerial photo of Apple Campus 2, taken last week, shows that construction is progressing rapidly. From the shot, you can see the 'underground' tunnels that will be used to support the structure as well as for parking.
