Apple today launched 'iTunes Pass' in Japan. The new service lets users visit an Apple Store to add money to their iTunes account without requiring the purchase of a gift card. Instead, a pass inside of the iOS Passbook application is scanned by employees and used to quickly add funds directly to a user's account. The pass can be installed from the main screen in the iPhone iTunes Store app.
