T-Mobile is reportedly looking to launch a back-to-school promotion very soon that will give customers an $100 mail-in-rebate when buying an iPad and iPhone together, according to TMoNews

T-Mobile is claiming this to be the 'first of many back to school offers' and it plans to give any customer who buys an iPhone and iPad on the same day a $100 prepaid Mastercard gift card.

● This offer is available to customers on Simple Choice postpaid plans who are activating new lines of service, or upgrading.
● The Apple iPhone and iPad must be purchased on the same day to qualify.
● Customers must complete offer redemption online at t-mobile.com/promotions.
● Offer expires September 2, 2014.

No word on whether or not this can be used on top of Apple's current back-to-school promotion

While this has not been made official by T-Mobile, the promotion is expected to be announced soon as it reportedly kicks off July 9.

It may as well be pointless. 2 plans for both devices and the total cost which is about $1100 ? No thanks. I'd rather have regular ipad with iPhone. If I wanted wifi on my ipad anywhere I go, I could just set up hotspot on my iPhone, don't know if that's possible for beta iOS 8 though.
