Apple has poached a sales director from TAG Heuer to help launch the iWatch, reports CNBC.
The company is planning to use the prestigious "Swiss Made" label to market the smartwatch, according to Jean-Claude Biver, the head of LVMH's watch brands. LVMH owns Swiss watchmakers TAG Heuer, Hublot and Zenith.
Biver says that TAG Heuer's sales director left as recently as last week, "to take a contract with Apple" in order to launch the iWatch.
Apple has tried to poach a number of employees from high-end Swiss watch makes without much success, say analysts.
The company is expected to release an iWatch later this year with recent reports predicting a 'Sports' model and a 'Designer' model of its iWatch.
