At its Uncarrier 5/6 event, T-Mobile announced that it would be offering anyone a free 'Test Drive' of its network by giving people an iPhone 5s with unlimited service for one week. The company partnered with Apple to deliver the phones to anyone who wanted to try out the service. Today, the company reports that it already has had over 12,000 signups for the Test Drive.

With T-Mobile Test Drive, you can take our data-strong network for a spin for seven days on Apple’s latest, greatest iPhone – the iPhone 5s. There’s no cost. No hidden fees. No obligation. And no more buying blind. I want you to know our network will work for you and your family – at home, at work, at school and everywhere in between –before you make a decision. I want you to experience our kick-ass network for yourself. You can pre-register now or order your test drive starting Monday, June 23 at t-mobile.com/testdrive. More than 12,000 people have already signed up to start cheating on their carrier. (Note to self: call Apple for more iPhones.)

You can order your Test Drive starting Monday June 23, but pre-orders started Wednesday night. You must return your phone within 7 days to a T-Mobile store if you do not plan to stay with T-Mobile.

T-Mobile also announced that they would be offering unlimited streaming of music to its customers without it counting towards their data bucket. Customers can stream as much Pandora, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, iTunes Radio, Slacker, Spotify, Samsung Milk and Beatport music as they would like for free. Unlimited customers on the other hand get free access to Rhapsody unRadio service.

No T-Mobile Service = your too far from the tower, something in your area is blocking the signal, or your phone may have issues. So places are bad reception spots for some carriers. I've had them all at one point and all have had drops. None are 100%

Or maybe your phone may not have enough bands. Not saying yours doesn't but just a suggestion.

9 years ago I had T-Mobile for a year. But having no signal in too many places made me switch. Let's see now if they finally have upgraded their system and if the data speed is worth it now.
