According to a report from MacG, Apple will be giving its iMac line a minor spec bump as soon as next week. The refresh is rumored to include a slight processor speed increases (100mhz). The report speculates that we could even see a price decrease on the machines, as well as a new Thunderbolt 2 port. MacG did accurately predict the MacBook Air refresh that happened last month, so there is a good chance the report is accurate.

Unfortunately it does not seem likely that these iMacs will be getting a retina display anytime soon. We've seen hints at a retina display iMac in both the latest 10.9.4 beta and OS X Yosemite, but it seems that will be something Apple launches later down its pipeline.

The report also claimed that Apple could launch the new iMacs later in the week, however it would be a change from the company's usual Tuesday release.
