Designers Tim Nikischin and Marc Philip Haesen have created a multi-user system concept for iOS 8. They note that iPads are often used by the whole family and usually it's not ideal for everyone to share the same content, bookmarks, mail, and more.
The video shows an iPad, on which you can already select the user on the homescreen. Login protection with password here sure would also be possible. If the user has logged in, he is located in its own system. He receives only its apps and his data. To continue managing the traffic of the iPad, the Notification Center gets another view. So you can show the user space used similar like in iTunes.
