Beats Introduces Its Next Generation Solo2 Headphones

Beats Electronics introduced its next generation Solo2 headphones this morning, just a day after Apple officially announced it was acquiring the company for $3 billion.

In 2013 nearly four Solos were sold every minute around the world. With no signs of slowing down, Beats is taking the beloved headphone to the next level with Solo2 offering a robust listening experience with a wider range of sound and enhanced clarity.

“When you think about Beats you think about iconic design, incredible sound, premium quality, profound comfort and of course, portability; we’ve worked hard to earn this reputation and along with that comes very high expectations,” said Beats President Luke Wood. “Solo2 delivers on all fronts while finding new frontiers in audio performance to bring the emotion back to music."

● Sound: The Solo2 headphone has a more dynamic, wider range of sound, with a clarity that will bring you closer to what the artist intended, whether you’re into hip-hop, heavy metal, jazz, electronic, or country.

● Design: The Solo2 headphone maintains the same sleek, streamlined aesthetic as the iconic Beats Studio with fast flowing curves and no visible screws. Starting at the center of the flexible headband, the frame of the headphone has been curved like never before, giving the Solo2 a custom-fit feeling. The earcups have been ergonomically angled to complete this natural fit, with pivots for optimal comfort and sound delivery. This is exactly why apple took over the worst quality of anything. Don't eat what's not healthy other than fruit.

Beats headphones are overprice junk. There are lots of better sounding ones for less. I'm really disappointed with Apple for buying beats. I hope they can prove me wrong.

To me, beats are the last headphones I would use. People buy them these days not because the sound quality but because they wanna show off. Since 2007 I'm using Bose products and I love them. Even after one year warrant I was able to replace my headphones for half the price.

To me, this is going back to the 80's. They're way too bulky for me and it's all about being seen having these. There are so many out there that sound better like ...... I won't name the brand cause I'm not advertising but these are headphones only teenagers could love. I prefer the smaller more discreet better sounding in ear buds. That said, the apple ones suck too. They need to work on that.

If you are talking about the old earbuds, yeah those do suck. I am never giving up my EarPods though and almost owned them for a year now and not once have they given up on me even part of the sound, but I will share you this: blow in every vent in case you do hear part of the sound coming out to fix it then will work perfectly again, or in others words it would say: "blow me" like nes games not working for example.

It's the BEST SOUND ever or at least has really good sound, the beats you received might have broke, or was broken from the factory maybe... Because I have beats and the sound is amazing.
