A new report from Nomura Securities estimates that the iPhone 6 will sell 46.5 million units in the fourth quarter of 2014 and account for 73% of all iPhones being sold.

The 4.7-inch model will apparently be dubbed the 'iPhone 6 Air', while the larger 5.5-inch model will reportedly be called the 'iPhone 6 Pro'. Nomura Securities predicts that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Pro will cost $750. That's $100 more than the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 Air is expected to cost.

Notably, Jefferies analyst Peter Misek has also heard that Apple has been negotiating a possible $100 price increase for the iPhone 6 with carriers.

"The possibility may at first seem far-fetched in light of investor concerns regarding possible carrier subsidy and handset price cuts due to smartphone saturation and lack of differentiation," Misek comments. "But we think this general lack of differentiation could be the reason why Apple may be able to get a price increase. Carriers realize that the iPhone 6 will likely be the only headline-worthy high-end phone launched this year and that they will lose subs if they do not offer it."
