Apple has expanded its in-store trade-in program for the iPad to the UK, Germany, France and Spain, as noted by Apfelpage.de and iPhoneAddict.fr.
The 'Reuse and Recycling' program allows customers to recycle older iPad models at Apple retails stores, and in turn, they will receive credit that can be used towards the purchase of a new iPad. Apple launched this program last month in the US and Canada for iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPad mini. Similarly to the US and Canadian programs, customers cannot trade in the iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina models.
No word on trade-in values for eligible devices, but like iPhones it will vary based on the condition of the device. Customers can combine credit from both the iPad and iPhone trade-ins towards and new iOS device.
Let us know if you spot any additional countries that offer the trade-in program!
