Apple is reportedly planning to unveil its 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in August, one month earlier than many expected, reports the Economic Daily News via Reuters.
A 4.7-inch screen version of the iPhone 6 will reach stores in August, the Economic Daily News reported without specifying which markets would receive the phone first. A 5.5-inch or 5.6-inch model will be released in September, the newspaper said, as the iPhone 5 series was previously.
Reuters says it previously confirmed with its own sources that there will be a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch version of the iPhone 6.
The Economic Daily News believes that 80 million iPhone 6 handsets will be produced this year. The most recent rumors have the device sporting rounded sides, elongated volume buttons, and a relocated sleep/wake button. Check out some physical mockups here.
