Newly leaked photos, allegedly of the next generation iPad Air front panel, have surfaced on One More Thing.
The photos reveal an iPad front panel with an integrated display. It's possible that rather than using a separate display panel and front panel, Apple could be looking to save previous space by integrating the two. The saved space could be used to make the iPad thinner or perhaps increase the size of the battery.
The site also notes that the connectors for the display are different than the current generation iPad Air.
Apple is expected to upgrade the iPad Air in the third quarter of 2014 with an A8 processor, Touch ID (fingerprint recognition), and a main camera resolution of 8MP.
