New documents that have surfaced in the second Apple vs. Samsung trial reveal that Samsung misled investors and analysts about sales of its Galaxy Tab, reports Fortune and AppleInsider.
Back in January 2011, Strategy Analytics reported that Samsung had already shipped 2 million Galaxy Tabs reducing Apple's share of the market to 75% from 95% in six weeks. The news was based on a vague comment made to investors by a Samsung VP.
New "Top Secret" documents unearthed by Apple reveal that rather than selling 2 million Galaxy Tabs in six weeks, it took Samsung all of 2011 to sell 1 million Galaxy Tabs. Samsung did admit that sales of the device were 'quite small' in its earnings call; however, as the charts below show, it sold even less than the Nook.
But how do we know this apppleinsider is not lying ? ROFL. Who is this "insider "? I am quite sure its appple itself. Trying to make up stories to win the case. Anyway there is nothing new, this is what they do from the moment they enter in the market and iSheeps here to support them. This "insider" is not an government agency right ? Do they have any official authentication for these numbers ? ISheeps, please check the fact before you do iFart
this shouldn't be news... no matter what the reports or numbers say just look around you. There are more Apple products than Samsung-Android products. Proof is in the pudding.
