1200 iPod knockoffs were distributed to guests at the Swiss Economic Forums which included Adrian Schmucki, the head of Apple Switzerland. The devices were really Chinese imitations meant to look similar to the second generation iPod shuffle.
After Schmucki received his, he threatened legal action against the insurance company Mobiliar who handed out the gifts. To make matters worse several of the guests asked Schmucki if the knockoffs would work with iTunes.
