Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is meeting with Apple CEO Tim Cook in Cupertino today.
Janine Zacharia, former Washington Post Jerusalem Bureau Chief, now Mideast watcher and journalism lecturer at Stanford University, tweeted about the meeting.
Netanyahu lunching with Tim Cook at Apple, then headed to #Stanford where he will meet President Hennessy and do some national TV interviews
The meeting was also announced as part of the prime minister's visit to the United States for AIPAC. Netanyahu will also be meeting with WhatsApp's founders who just sold their app to Facebook in a transaction valued at approximately $19 billion.
Apple recently acquired PrimeSense, the Israeli 3D sensing company behind the Microsoft Xbox Kinect.
It's unclear what exactly Netanyahu and Cook will be discussing; however, Apple does have multiple research and development centers in the country.
