Ten months ago, Ubermind turned the world of digital photography on its head with the release of Maperture. Now, the company that brought you some of the most popular Aperture plug-ins available is at it again with the release of Maperture Pro.

"Maperture has been tremendously successful, but it was never intended to be the final word on Aperture geotagging plug-ins," said Leif Harrison, Ubermind Engineer and Maperture Pro's Lead Developer. "Since its release, we've spent the better part of a year adding some really amazing functionality. Many of these features were already on the drawing board, but our users have also been an incredible source of ideas. Because of this spirit of community, I already feel as if Maperture Pro is a huge success."

Expanding upon Maperture's already robust toolset, the Pro version adds an impressive assortment of highly requested features, including: importing Tracklog data from a wide-array of GPS devices; altitude (Z-axis) tagging; support for reverse geocoding; options for customizable keywords; as well as the ability to copy and paste geotag data.

Pricing and Availability
Maperture Pro is now available for direct download from Ubermind's products page. You can try a fully functional version of the plug-in free for 15 days. Then, at any time, you can easily purchase a software license from within the plug-in for $39.95 (USD).
