Apple has launched two-step Apple ID verification for Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, & Spain.
Two-step verification is an optional security feature for your Apple ID. It requires you to verify your identity using one of your devices before you can sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account, make an iTunes, App Store, or iBooks Store purchase from a new device, and get Apple ID-related support from Apple.
The full list of countries now supporting two-step verification includes: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Spain, United Kingdom, United States.
To set up two-step verification: ● Go to http://appleid.apple.com/ ● Select “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in. ● Select “Password and Security.” ● Under Two-Step Verification, select Get Started and follow the onscreen instructions.
Should be interesting, having 5 iphones, 2 ipads and 4 ipods all on the same account spread out over more areas. I currently have a US, German and Japan itunes account. (Military)
I will keep you posted as the fun develops
