Palm may be readying a second device based on WebOS for release later this year according to TechCrunch.
One of their sources indicated that Palm is “very far along” on a second Pre-like device and plans to put it on the market in the late part of 2009, possibly as early as this Fall.
The details are still slim - it’s a smaller device (and hopefully that means slimmer), but it will run Palm’s new WebOS operating system that everyone is raving about. We’re trying to determine if the device has a physical keyboard - no word on that yet.
Its rumored that Palm will release the Pre around June 7th just a few days before Apple is likely to announce the next iPhone at WWDC.
