"I have seen a great number of poorly Photoshopped images in my time as a photographer and I can tell by the pixels that it is a fake"

There's no way. The other paintings he did are believable... not this one.

The other paintings were done three years ago on a non retina iPad. And with one of the first painting apps made for the iPad. The iPad and apps have come along way since then. Look at the capabilities of the app he used before you go calling it a fake. The app is basically a moble version of Photoshop.

I've seen the capabilities of the app and nothing I've seen comes out THAT realistic looking. Even on their website everything looks like a cartoon or an actual painting, not an ACTUAL PHOTO. I believe he had the actual photo as a layer underneath and then he started adding aspects on top of it, like hair, Gaussian blur and then just adjusted everything to show the actual photo underneath. Look closely. If the app was capable of like-like paintings like this, that would be the first thing you would see on their website to give credibility to the app... not a bunch of cartoon figures that look like artwork and images from video games.

How about you and the other disbelievers look at the capabilities of the app that he used first before you go calling it a fake.
