Apple Opens New AppleCare Repairs Warehouse in Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Posted October 29, 2013 at 8:11pm by iClarified
Apple has opened a second AppleCare repairs warehouse in the United States. The new center is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and is just under 200,000 sq ft in size with an additional 2500 sq ft of office space, reports 9to5Mac.

Apple will use this facility to conduct repairs and replacements and to manage, package, and ship repaired Apple devices to both customer’s homes and Apple Store Genius Bars across the country. When an Apple customer of a Mac computer, for example, needs aspects of their device replaced and fixed, their product is typically shipped to a similar warehouse in Elk Grove, California.

The new facility is Apple's first major repair center expansion in the United States and the company's first AppleCare presence on the East Coast. There are smaller repair centers in Texas and Memphis; however, this is a large facility dedicated for repairs. Apple will now ship devices that need fixing to the closest facility. This may improve repair times and reduce shipping costs for the company.

Mark never iphone
Mark never iphone - September 19, 2017 at 11:19am
My iphone started to have progressive difficulty booting up. No damage, dropping, etc of any kind. The repair facility claimed damage, never sent my old phone back, charged me $500 for a new phone + $40 service charge + $299.97 extraneous charge. Now no one answers the telephone.

You mean the place that uses a generic pictures to void Iphone warranties based on water damage and then tries to charge for the repairs under a valid claim or convince people to allow them to recycle the phone for them.. I have full proof of this. Stated rust on a screw, guess what the oicture is from another complete Iphone LCD 4, not a 5c LCD. The screw and tab the picture shows doesn't even exist on the 5c. I have already opened a Attorney generals office official complaint. I have studied this even further. i have a engineering degree and more experience than probably any tech there. Time to talk to the sister in-law, you know a lawyer. I could fix it in 15 minutes, but the point is Apple Care plus and there service center are ripping consumers off and I have full proof of this. I am holding the Iphone in my hand.
