Apple is hiring for over 200 job positions in China via LinkedIn, reports the WSJ. The company is looking to fill some senior roles including one for an environmental affairs program manager.
The environmental affairs program manager will be based in China’s capital Beijing, the center of political power. According to the job description, the candidate has to “ensure that Apple’s products and processes meet and surpass regional and national environmental regulatory requirements.”
Another position being filled is one for a Shanghai-based security specialist who would be responsible for overseeing the security of manufacturing and production activities, evaluating suppliers' security practices of a daily basis.
Of course, Apple also needs numerous retail specialists and store leaders.
A recent report from DigiTimes also noted that the company is hiring an engineering team in Taiwan.
