Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle and long time friend and colleague of Steve Jobs shared in an interview with CBS's Charlie Rose what he believes Apple without Steve Jobs will look like.
“Well, we already know,” Ellison told Rose. “We saw we conducted the experiment. I mean, it’s been done. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. We saw Apple without Steve Jobs. We saw Apple with Steve Jobs. Now, we’re gonna see Apple without Steve Jobs.”
Ellison is referring to when Jobs was ousted in 1985 by the Apple board, which caused the company to struggle. He then joined the company again as CEO, bringing new products like the iPod, iPhone and iPad -- making Apple one of the world's biggest companies.
Even with Steve Jobs' hand picked successors like Tim Cook and the rest of the executive team (Jony Ive, Eddy Cue, etc) Ellison still has a hunch that history will repeat itself.
