Frameline have announced the release of an update to their dynamic video database application for video professionals, Frameline 47. Version 3.1 adds a host of improvements and fixes, including network database syncing, file check out, JKL navigation support, faster processing and much more.

The update focuses on providing increased speed and reliability together with providing additional video networking functionality. Frameline provides for safe collaborative working when using shared network storage by enabling files to be dynamically checked in and out, with each version of the application to function as a server, without the need for a complex IT infrastructure to be set-up. New database syncing enables new data added by one user, to be quickly reflected to all other users on the network.

With its increased functionality, metadata standards compliance, and low price relative to other video management solutions, Frameline is an ideal solution for individuals and small to medium sized media companies who want to increase the flexibility, access, and long-term value of their video assets.
